Have each of your students color a pennant with a CVVC word. They will also write the word on the bottom of the pennant. Then hang them around the room for some fun phonics decor!

Pull out the letter stampers and have your students practice spelling CVVC words one letter at a time. The words on this worksheet are load, main, mood, beef, and heat. This is a perfect activity to set up for centers to help reinforce literacy, fine motor skills, and spelling all in one activity!

This picture sort is perfect for learning centers, as the cards can be printed on card stock and used again and again! Students will sort the pictures into two categories: CVVC Words and Not CVVC Words. Words with various vowel combinations are used.
