Cut-and-Glue Activities

Cut out the animal words at the bottom of the page. Match each animal up with its correct color from the Brown Bear book. Glue the words onto the page.
Pre-K and Kindergarten
Color the animals in the mini-book. Write the color words. Then cut out the pages and staple them together. Read your book to a friend.
Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Tell which characters were in the book and which were not. Cut out the animals and sort them on the t-chart.

Make a flip book. Flip the flaps to make sentences in this form: "I see a ___." Animals include a brown bear, red bird, and others from Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle's Brown Bear, Brown Bear book.
