In this spelling unit students will practice spelling words with the /s/ and /z/ sounds using a variety of activities, such as flashcards, alphabetical order, and a crossword. The word list includes: pacifier, deceptive, compromise, dissolve, browsed, trousers, citizen, quartz, license, recite, societies, disease, clumsiest, blizzard, sympathize, deceptive, motorcycle, episode and more.
This worksheet includes a list of words that have the /s/ and /z/ sounds. Students will also spell review words with r-controlled vowels and challenge words.
