Words for this week have -ing endings. Observing, selecting, panicking, changing, complaining, squirting, munching, appearing, frustrating, exciting, hiking, agreeing, pleasing, confusing, copying, scrubbing, laughing, sounding, mimicking, and regulating.

This week's spelling words are words that end in -ing. Answer phonics questions, give the spelling word for each definition, choose the best synonym, and complete the sentences with your spelling words. This worksheet includes bonus questions and an answer key.

In this activity, students will circle the spelling word in each sentence and identify whether it is spelled correctly or incorrectly. If the word is incorrect, they will write the word with the correct spelling on the line provided.

On this worksheet, students will unscramble each of their spelling words.

Write each of your unit eighteen spelling word two times.

Students can use the grid on this paper to make their own spelling word search. Then they can trade papers with a classmate to solve.

Find the -ing words hidden in the word puzzle.

With this typing activity, students will have to type their name at the top of the page, use each spelling word in a complete sentence, and make sure each sentence has at least 6 words in them. The student should number the sentences 1 through 12 and be sure to underline the spelling word in each sentence.

Each flash card has a spelling word on it. Students can take turns drawing cards, and asking each other how to spell the words.

Arrange each group of spelling words in alphabetical order.

Write all spelling words in ABC order, starting with agreeing and ending with whether.

The first step of this activity is cutting out the spelling words cards. The second step is arranging them in alphabetical order on the worksheet. The third step is attaching them to the page with a glue stick.
