Easter Early Literacy

These word and pictures cards can be used for a variety of different learning centers and class activities. Match the Easter words with the pictures. (If you prefer a full color version of this file, please click the "alt" button below.)

Color the bunny. Trace the lowercase letter b.

Use crayons to color in the carrot. Then use a pencil to trace the lowercase letter c.

Trace the uppercase letter E. Then write the word Easter. Then trace the bunny.

Color the egg, then trace and write the lowercase letter e.

After coloring the beautiful daffodil flowers, students trace and write the letter f.

Trace the lowercase letter l, for lamb. Then color the Easter picture.

Use letter ink stampers to make the words shown.

Young children will be able to easily learn to read the words in this simple, repeating book. Color the pictures, staple the book, and read it together.

Students cut out 25 sight word cards. Then they rearrange them to make as many complete sentences as possible. Some cards have basic sight words, such as we, she, see, I, have, will, you, it, and can. Other cards have Easter-themed words, such as bunny, hop, grass, eggs, hide, and basket.
