Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, about a 13-year-old boy's journey to survive in the wilderness, is as beloved today as it was when it came out in 1987. Our chapter book unit for the book includes vocabulary activities, review questions, and writing prompts to help your students get the most out of this classic novel.
