Easter Sunday is only a week away, so we added a few new Easter worksheets.
- Egg Syllables - Count the syllables in the words, then color according to the key.
- Story Picture 1 - Why is the Easter Bunny running away from the baby chicks? Write a story to go along with the picture.
- Story Picture 2 - These rabbits have giant eggs! Write a story to explain what's going on in the picture.
- Easter Editing - Find the mistakes in the paragraph.
In addition to the worksheets above, we made 3 more Easter worksheets. To see them all, please look through the Easter Worksheets page.
We're always trying to make new worksheets by request. We have tons of requests in our "to-do" pile and we're trying to get to as many as we can. Tami, a teacher in Wisconsin, asked for some geometry worksheets with pictures of nets on them. Here's what we came up with:
- Nets 1 - Tell what solid shape is made by each net pictured.
- Nets 2 - Tell what solid shape is made by each net pictured.
Guy Belleranti wrote a fun article for 5th grade readers about Toucans. Guy Belleranti fans will want to check out all of his passages on the animal articles page.

Happy spring! Can you believe there are only a few months left in the school year?
A fifth grade teacher wrote in with a special request: more improper fraction worksheets. I made a new worksheet on converting improper fractions to mixed numbers. I'll try to make several more on this topic in the near future.
Caitlin illustrated a brand new mini-book titled, Let's Bake a Cake. It's an easy-reader coloring book that features silent-e words.
A third grade teacher wrote in to request grammar worksheets on articles (a, an, and the). Check out the adjectives page for several new article (a, an, the) worksheets.

I'm trying to get caught up on reading comprehension stories this week. I think I have half a dozen submissions to catch up on. Here are two terrific Kelly Hashway stories that we just uploaded....
- Leprechaun's Gold - When Jason gets stuck being the leprechaun while playing Leprechaun's Pot of Gold with his friends, he'll have to think like a leprechaun to find the perfect hiding place for the chocolate coins.
- Missing Information - When Jameson eavesdrops on his Mom's phone conversation, he thinks his mom is setting up a play date with the younger boy down the street. Jameson pretends to study to get out of it, but after he wastes the entire afternoon bored in his room, he discovers he missed a lot of the conversation he was trying to overhear, and he also missed out on an afternoon of fun.
Also - The search bar has been moved to the top of the homepage. You'll see it on the top throughout the site in the near future. Many thanks to Marshall and Maria for all their hard work with the search feature.
