Are you really going to be charging people to access the site?
Sorry, but yes. We have decided to charge for membership subscriptions on our website. There are still free worksheets on most pages within the site, but if you want full access to all the worksheets, you will need a membership.
Why are you doing this?
Quite simply, we could not afford to keep Super Teacher Worksheets going as a free site.
We're proud of the fact that we've had tons of visitors on the website, but the increased traffic mean we've had to invest in a rather expensive virtual dedicated server to keep the site up. Also, we've hired an in-house graphic artist to develop new math worksheets on a daily basis. And we buy lots of terrific graphics from freelance graphic artists that work with us too. And we've been purchasing lots of new stories and articles for our reading comprehension sections. We also have office rent, utilities, and computers to pay for.
Long story short - we didn't want to do it, but if we kept offering the worksheets for free, we wouldn't have been able to survive and grow.
What about the FREE worksheets?
There are still many free worksheets on the site. Click on any page and you'll find some free ones. Addition, multiplication, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, handwiritng, holidays - each section still has some free worksheets. However, if you want full-access to the site, you will need to be a member.
How does membership cost?
Twenty bucks for an individual membership. Well, $19.95, actually. That's a lot less than any other teacher membership site we've seen, and we like to think our worksheets are higher-quality too.
Don't you know that teachers don't make a lot of money?
Yes, I sure do. I was an elementary school teacher for over ten years. We are trying to keep the site as affordable as possible. That's why the price is only $19.95. That's about $1.67 a month. A nickel a day.
Is it safe to pay online?
We have invested in a secure online server. Enter the required information (including your credit card number) on the order page, and you will be granted instant access to Super Teacher Worksheets. Credit cards are processed with a merchant account through authorize.net. (They're one of the biggest and most established credit card processing companies on the Internet.) We don't even get to see your credit card numbers - it's all encrypted and processed through authorize.net.
Can I mail you a check or money order instead?
Sure. On our membership page, you have the option to pay with a check or money order, if you prefer. Since this requires us to set up your account manually, please allow 7-10 business days after we receive your check to set up your account. (Thanks for being patient with us - we're still learning how to use the new system.) We will e-mail you when your account is ready.
Can my school buy a site license so all teachers can use the site?
Yes! Building site license will allow all teachers within a single school building unlimited access to the site. Prices for a site license are $300 for one building, or $200 per building when multiple buildings within a district purchase together. Please read the site license information page for details.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. If you are unhappy for any reason, let us know within 30 days and we'll issue you a full refund.
Is the site still growing?
Of course! More than ever! We're adding new worksheets each and every day.
Look at what we've added over the past month:
- Promethean Flipchart Lessons
- Reading comprehension stories (new ones each week)
- Blank maps of the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia
- New holiday worksheets for Christmas and New Year
- Phonics worksheets for each letter sound (digraphs, blends, and diphthongs coming soon)
- Mini-books for early readers (new ones added regularly)
- Math picture puzzle worksheets
- And much, much more than we could possibly list here.
Every day we're adding new printables to the site, and we will continue to do this into the future.
Are you really going to be charging for memberships? Seriously?
Sorry, but yes. As I mentioned before, we didn't want to do it, but in order to for Super Teacher Worksheets to survive and grow, we need to be able to pay the bills.
Thanks for your support and understanding.
Sincerely,
Tim Weibel
